Wanted to venture into the wilder side of style so I picked up this limited edition Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Mini handbag in Magenta Croc. The bag has been returned.

While I loved that the smooshy leather was slouchy yet structured (and looked great tucked under my arm), that the color popped any outfit (more purple than pink), and that the faux croc trim provided an exotic touch to a classic shape, the bag was overall very disappointing.

If you look closely at the main leather panel you can see faint lines from where the leather was dyed (!!!). Handles also felt flimsy and nothing special. It also kind of looked like something from Jessica Simpson's wannabe high-end designer line of handbags. And for the price tag (~$585.00 retail, which I did NOT pay) it should be nothing but luxe arm candy.
